Link to a particular Slider or Individual Slide

This article covers how to link to a slider or slide from a hyperlink that exists outside of the slider itself.

  • Article Note:
    A "slider" refers to an entire slider that may exist somewhere on your web page, and a "slide" refers to one of the individual slides inside the "slider".

1. Locate your slider's ID:
2. Link to the slider using the following url format:

http://www.my-site.com/my-page.com#rev_slider_MySliderId

Link to a specific Slide
1. Use the following url format:

“slide2” would load the second slide, “slide3” the third, etc.

In this example, “#” is used for the href attribute, and then an “onclick” attribute is added that instructs the slider’s API to load a specific slide.  Then the “return false;” part just tells the browser to ignore the url inside href tag.
