Creating Dynamic Content with Actions

Step 1. Add a Text Layer and Button to the editing stage.

Step 2. Add the dynamic content that will be shown when the "Read More" button is clicked

In the following example, a new Text Layer (“description”) and button (“close”) have been added to the editing stage.  And to help position and size this new content, the “Read More” button has been temporarily hidden from the editor view by clicking its “eye” icon.

Step 3. Add the following Actions to the "Read More" Layer.

In the following example, we’ll work with the “Start Layer Animation” Action to toggle the dynamic content into view.

  • Click -> Start Layer “in” Animation -> DESCRIPTION (name of Layer) -> Wait for Trigger
  • Click -> Start Layer “in” Animation -> CLOSE BUTTON (name of Layer)  -> Wait for Trigger
  • Click -> Start Layer “out” Animation -> READ MORE (name of Layer)  -> In and Out Animation Default

Step 4. Add the following Actions to the "Close" Layer.

In the following example, we’ll apply the same Actions to the “Close” button Layer, but reverse (“in” becomes “out” and vice versa).

  • Click -> Start Layer “out” Animation -> DESCRIPTION (name of Layer) -> Wait for Trigger
  • Click -> Start Layer “out” Animation -> CLOSE BUTTON (name of Layer)  -> Wait for Trigger
  • Click -> Start Layer “in” Animation -> READ MORE (name of Layer)  -> In and Out Animation Default
