Change Layer Order
Sort layers, change layer order, change z-index, adjust layer depth.
As the title above shows, there are many different ways this can be described. But they all equal a single concept:
Place one layer on top of another.
In the following screenshot example, there are two Layers present. One is titled “caption text1”, and the second is titled “Shape”.
Layers listed toward the beginning of the list will have a lower depth, and layers listed toward the bottom will have the higher depth.
So for the following example, the “Shape” layer would be placed on top of the “caption text1” layer.
To place the “caption text1” layer on top of the “Shape” layer, drag and drop the layers on top of one another with your mouse.
